Effective date: 2026-09-24
These terms apply to the Life Tracker mobile app for Android and iOS (called "Życiomierz" in Polish, hereafter the "App"), provided by Michał Karpiuk, an individual developer based in Poland (hereafter "I" or "the Developer"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is a personal log: you define your own actions and record events against them. It works without an account. Signing in is optional and lets you synchronise your data between devices. The App is free of charge and has no ads or paid features.
Everything you record in the App belongs to you. You give the Developer only the permission needed to store and synchronise it for you. You can export your data at any time with "Export data".
You are responsible for what you write in the App. Do not use it to store content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
Do not attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the App or its servers, reverse engineer the App beyond what the law allows, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
The App, its code, design and name belong to the Developer, except for third-party components used under their own licences. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App on devices you own or control, in line with the rules of Google Play or the App Store.
The App is provided free of charge "as is". The Developer tries to keep it working and your data safe, but cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that synchronisation will never fail. Keep your own copy of anything important, for example with "Export data". The App may change over time, and features may be added or removed. The Developer may stop providing the App or the synchronisation service; if that happens, you will be told in advance and given time to export your data.
To the extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect losses or for loss of data resulting from using or being unable to use the App. The App is not a medical device and does not give medical, financial or other professional advice. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
The App uses services provided by Google (Firebase) and, for Sign in with Apple, by Apple. Your use of those sign-in methods is also subject to their own terms. Downloading the App from Google Play or the App Store is subject to the rules of that store.
These terms may be updated. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the App. If you keep using the App after a change, the new terms apply; if you do not accept them, you can stop using the App and delete your account.
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Disputes will be settled by the competent common courts.
